Gainesville will be the site of one of hundreds of “No Kings” protests planned Saturday around the country, according to the organizers’ website, No Kings.
The No Kings in Northeast Georgia rally will be on the square 3:00-4:00. And protests are also planned in other Georgia cities and towns.
“They’ve defied our courts, deported Americans, disappeared people off the streets, attacked our civil rights, and slashed our services,” organizers of the national movement declare on their website. “The corruption has gone too. far. No thrones. No crowns. No kings.“
