HCFR’s new deputy chiefs

Hall County Fire Rescue has named Bradley Martin and Bryan Cash as the new deputy fire chiefs, effective June 16. Martin will oversee administration, while Cash will oversee operations.

“These positions have been a long time coming,” Hall County Fire Rescue Chief Jerry Smith said. “There are nearly 60 years of operational experience between Chief Martin and Chief Cash, and I am confident their wealth of knowledge and expertise will serve as invaluable assets to Hall County Fire Rescue’s leadership and the community as a whole.”

Chief Martin has dedicated his 28-year-long career to Hall County Fire Rescue, beginning his career with Hall County as a firefighter in 1997. He has 20 years of operational experience and more than five years of administrative experience. Martin has served as the division chief of support services for the past three years.

Like Martin, Chief Cash has served Hall County Fire Rescue in various capacities for 31 years, having started his career as a firefighter in 1993. Cash has served as deputy chief in an interim capacity since August 2023 and in multiple leadership roles in operations and administration, including fire marshal and division chief of operations.

“Together, Chief Martin and Chief Cash will provide a great leadership team for Hall County Fire Rescue,” Smith said.
