The road closure at the portion of White Sulphur Road in the immediate vicinity of the new Cagle Road connection has been extended through Monday due to weather delays and unexpected utility location issues.
“Hall County strategically planned this road closure to align with our local schools’ spring break to mitigate travel inconveniences to our citizens,” Hall County Director of Public Works and Utilities Bill Nash said. “Unfortunately, construction projects do not always go as smoothly as we hope, but we are working diligently with the contractor, E.R. Snell, to complete this work as quickly as possible.”
Local traffic will continue to have access to the roadway throughout the closure, while through traffic will continue to detour onto Ramsey Road and Cornelia Highway.
