The Assistant County Administrator for Glynn County, Georgia, is coming to Hall County to fill the post vacated April 1 by Assistant County Administrator Katie Crumley.
Gentry has been on the job in Glynn County since February 2023. He’s also has had 14 years of experience as a director of Parks and Recreation in Gwinnett and Oconee counties, while also serving 32 years in the Georgia National Guard.
“John has a wealth of knowledge and experience in local government that will serve the growing Hall County community well,” County Administrator Zach Propes said. “In addition to his experience in an administrative capacity in local government, his years of military leadership and experience will be highly beneficial in this role and to our operations.”
