*AI could be a game changer for Emergency services in Cobb County. The County Department of Emergency Communications has partnered with GovWorx to implement an artificial intelligence-enhanced training platform called CommsCoach Simulations for emergency responders. The program simulates realistic, high-pressure emergency calls to provide new telecommunicators with hands-on experience in a controlled environment. WSB-TV reports that Cobb County 911 will be one of the first emergency communications centers in Georgia to utilize this training tool.

*An off-duty Duluth police officer, Preston Marsh, rescued a 4-year-old girl who jumped into a pool without her floaties on. The girl’s mom praised Officer Marsh for his quick response, as there was no splashing or screaming to alert others. 11Alive reports that despite being off-duty and at the pool to relax, Marsh saw what no one else did and sprinted over 25 yards on the pool deck to save the young girl.
