FCSO: The peeping tom who took things just a little too far

FORSYTH CO. SHERIFF’S OFFICE (FCSO) NARRATIVE: (Editor’s note: Some editing for clarity and brevity.)

“Neighbors of Dylan Combs say they (would) often see him walking around the neighborhood, staring at their homes or them while they are out doing yard work, and frequently acting erratically.  One neighbor said he was spotted looking in the windows of a neighbor’s home.

On May 9th, Dylan decided to take his creepy behavior a bit farther.  The victim (in this case) told detectives she was in her living room watching TV (one) evening when her dog began barking towards the back bedroom.   When she entered the room, she noticed curtains were moved to one side and the window was open.  As she moved towards the window, she saw Dylan sitting on the floor at the foot of her bed.  She ran out of the house and called police.  He was gone when deputies got there.

(Investigators, including crime scene specialists) were able to tie evidence found at the scene to Dylan.  Detectives charged Dylan Combs with Burglary 1st Degree Forced (Entry).  When asked about the burglary, Dylan said he ‘takes so many drugs that he doesn’t remember going in the victim’s house.’  Now he sits in the (Sheriff) Freeman Hotel (the Forsyth County Jail) on a no bond status.”
