FCSO: Million+ child sex images found on man’s ‘devices’

A Forsyth County man who was one of 17 men arrested in a statewide crackdown the end of January in Operation Bytedown, a crackdown on child sex abuse and exploitation, is in more trouble.

Over the past month, the FCSO (Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office) Digital Forensic Lab processed external drives and laptop that were seized from Elvis Beltran Pineda’s home when the original search warrant was executed.  The Digital Forensic Lab found over a one million (M) images of Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM), both stills and videos, on those devices.

Earlier this week, detectives obtained 15 additional warrants for Pineda – two counts of Distribution of CSAM and 13 Counts of Possession of CSAM.

FCSO’s Warrant Unit recently took Pineda into custody at his home and took him to the county jail where he’s being held without bond.
