FBPD: Suspicious activity leads to drug arrest

FLOWERY BRANCH POLICE (FBPD) NEWS RELEASE:

“In the early morning hours (Monday) a Flowery Branch Police Officer was patrolling the
area of Hog Mountain Road when he contacted a suspicious male loitering in the parking lot of a
closed gas station.

The individual was identified as Justin Rasheed Paxton, 33, of Stone Mountain, Georgia.

Upon further investigation, officers discovered several packages of suspected marijuana, numerous
pills believed to be MDMA, and additional pills not stored in their original container inside Mr.
Paxton’s vehicle.

While being detained, Mr. Paxton resisted and attempted to pull away from the officer, but he
was quickly subdued and detained without any further incident.

Mr. Paxton was transported to
the Hall County Detention Center, where he was booked on the following charges:
 Loitering or Prowling
 Possession of Marijuana
 Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute
 Possession of MDMA
 Possession of MDMA with Intent to Distribute
 Drugs Not in Original Container
 Obstruction of a Law Enforcement Officer
