A 27-year-old man, Diaz Sorria, died over the weekend in Lake Lanier.
Sorria disappeared Saturday afternoon when he jumped from a boat on the Forsyth County side of the lake. Authorities say he was wearing a life jacket but it wasn’t secured.
The search was suspended that night but resumed Sunday.
And with the help of SONAR and the Forsyth and Hall County Sheriff’s offices Sorria ‘s body was found, according to the state Department of Natural Resources.
