*This year’s Gainesville High School (GHS) Honorary Diplomas were recently presented to Scott Rutherford and Dr. Faith Simpson. Rutherford is a longtime supporter of the school who currently helps with game day preparations for home football games and serves as PA announcer and scoreboard operator for soccer. Dr. Rutherford is a retired 20-year veteran of the city school system who served as a teacher, coach, administrator, and athletic director during her career.
