Early voting begins Monday

Early voting begins Monday for the June 18 General Election Primary runoffs in Georgia.

In Hall County, two local races will be on the ballot: county commission chairman featuring David Gibbs and the incumbent, Richard Higgins, in a Republican Primary face-off, and Andy Maddox and Tripp Wingate, III, in a Nonpartisan runoff for a vacant judgeship in Hall County State Court.

There will be three early voting locations in Hall County, according to the county elections office: the Spout Springs Library, the Gainesville Civic Cener and the North Hall Community Center. Hours are 9:00-5:00 each day. Friday will be the last day for early voting.

You must vote for the same party in the run-off as you did in the primary unless you voted a non-partisan ballot. In this case you must indicate a party preference for your run-off ballot. If you failed to vote in the primaries May 21, you are still eligible to vote in either party’s Run-off Election and the General Election.

There are no statewide runoffs this year.
