Drug trafficking, distribution; Fleeing, attempting to elude; Homeless camp death update

*A 42-year-old man was arrested Friday afternoon on several drug possession and distribution charges. The charges involve THC oil, Hydrocodone, Marijuana, Ecstacy, and MDA. He’s also charged with Probation Violation and is being held without bond in the Hall County Jail.

*The same is true of a 53-year-old man who is charged with Possession of Meth with Intent to Distribute.

*And Gainesville Police report that two separate traffic stops yielded 403 grams and 28 grams of marijuana, respectively, this week, and led to drug distribution charges being filed against the drivers..

*The Fleeing and Attempting to Eude charge was filed against a 46-year-old man who was arrested Friday about noon. He’s also charged with DUI and other traffic violations as well as four counts of Obstruction of an Officer/Resisting Arrest.

*And Gainesville Police said Friday the woman whose badly decomposed body was found in a tent at a Dawsonville Highway homeless camp appears to have died of natural causes. She still had not been identified at last check.

Further information on these reports is not likely to be released until Monday morning when HCSO administrative offices reopen following the weekend.
