Dahlonega on GCC head’s stops on listening tour of state

Dahlonega is one of eight stops between now and the end of September for a listening tour of Georgia for the President & CEO of the Georgia Chamber of Commerce (GCC), Chris Clark. In fact, Dahlonega is the first stop – on May 28.

Statesboro, West Point, Fitzgerald, Sandersville, Dublin, Vidalia, and McDonough, the last stop, are also on Clark’s itinerary. There will be a two-month break in July and August.

Clark will use the meetings to discuss the new Georgia/2050 Strategic Plan and how the state’s communities can begin working to ensure Georgia “remains a beacon of economic opportunity for the next 25 years and beyond.
