In celebration of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ Birthday (June 16) and Juneteenth (June 19), the Corps of Engineers will waive day-use fees at more than 2,600 recreation areas around the country including several on Lake Lanier.
This includes fees for boat ramps and swimming beaches at Corps-operated parks nationwide.

The following areas on Lanier remain CLOSED and have been closed TFN since June 2 because of budget cuts and staffing issues:
- Burton Mill
- Keith’s Bridge
- Little River
- Long Hollow
- Mountain View
- Robinson
- Two Mile
- Van Pugh North
- Van Pugh South
