A 700-unit residential development is planned in the Chestnut Mountain area, according to the agenda for the June 15 meeting of the Hall County Planning Commission (HCPC). A proposed industrial park is also included in the application.
K2P Land Partners, LLC, is applying to rezone 84 acres from Agricultural-Residential I (AR-1) to Residential Multi-Family (R-1 MF) on Old Winder Highway at Pleasant Hill Lane for the 700-home development.
The same outfit also wants another 194 acres rezoned from AR-1 to Light Industrial (L-I) to make way for the industrial park.
