Another round of storms headed our way

Are you ready for some more stormy weather? Seems we’re in a rut, doesn’t it?

Strong winds, hail, heavy rain, flooding. All forecast to move into the area starting Thursday and continuing for a couple of days. And not only that but rain is likely for all of next week.

Here’s the weather service’s Hazardous Weather Outlook for north and central Georgia for today through Tuesday:

“TONIGHT: Isolated thunderstorms are possible through tonight, capable of producing gusty winds, small hail, and frequent lightning.

THURSDAY THRU TUESDAY: Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are expected across much of
north and central Georgia each day into the weekend. Any storms will be capable of producing gusty winds, small hail, and frequent lightning. A few severe thunderstorms are possible on Friday, with
damaging winds and large hail as the main threats. Periods of heavy rainfall will be possible each day as well, with the potential for localized flooding.”
