Georgia’s public school systems have signed a certification letter mandating the removal of diversity, equity, and inclusion programs to secure over $1 billion in federal K-12 education funding.
The Trump administration sent letters to state education departments on April 3, demanding compliance with Title IV of the Civil Rights Act and the Students for Fair Admissions v. Harvard decision to receive federal financial assistance.
Georgia’s Department of Education confirmed that all school districts and state-authorized charter schools submitted certifications to adhere to these requirements.
