“We were off the air for 37 days (5 weeks and 2 days),” Mike Wofford, President, Vision Communications of Georgia, Inc., and General Manager, WGTJ Radio, said Friday afternoon in announcing that the company’s two stations – 97.5 Glory FM and AM 1330 – can again be heard through the airwaves.
An accident at the tower/transmitter site in early April reduced the stations to broadcasting on the Internet only. EARLIER STORY. POSTED APRIL 9: Accident at tower site leaves 97.5 Glory FM off the air
But Wofford said those charged with getting things up and running again finished the work around 3:15 p.m. Friday. The work included erecting a new tower.
