A Gainesville store is reporting a case of shoplifting with the total loss topping $7,000.
Walmart on Shallowford Road says the theft occurred late Tuesday afternoon or early Tuesday evening. The loss, according to a police report, totals $7,549.
A Gainesville Police Department spokesman says store officials told investigators that three unknown suspects were involved, taking 21 phones.
