The Dawson County Planning Commission will hear a rezoning request later this month for 123 acres where a 211-unit housing development is planned.
The property is at the intersection of Georgia Highway 9 and Dawson Forest Road.
The applicants, Coleman Family Investments, LLC & Bagley Land and Cattle Co. LLC, are seeking to rezone the tract from RSR (Residential Sub-Rural) and RA (Residential Agricultural) to R-2 (Residential Suburban).
The planning commission meets June 17.
