Hall County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) deputies arrested a Clermont man on Wednesday night following a domestic dispute at his residence in the 5000 block of Gailey Drive.
According to the preliminary investigation, between 5:30 and 6 p.m., Peyton Walker Ravan, 18, grabbed “intimate body parts” of a woman, age 62, after dropping his pants in the residence. Next, he repeatedly punched the second victim, a man, 39, in the man’s face before he (Ravan) left the home.
When the deputy arrived, Ravan was in the female victim’s SUV outside of the home, attempting to drive while intoxicated. After Ravan refused the deputy’s commands to stop and get out of the SUV, the deputy deployed a Taser while a bystander assisted and put the vehicle in park. The deputy then took Ravan into custody.
A Hall County Fire Rescue ambulance responded and transported Ravan to the hospital to be checked out. Deputies transported him to the Hall County Jail after he was medically cleared.
Ravan is charged with Simple Battery, Obstruction of an Officer and Sexual Battery.
He remained in the Hall County Jail Friday afternoon on $11,600 bond.
