12-month investigation yields two arrests, guns, $120K worth of drugs

Following a year-long investigation, Hall County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) drug agents this
week raided a house in the East Hall area and arrested two people, while seizing guns and $120,000 worth of illegal drugs.

Johnny Ray Tanner, 56, of Gainesville, and Jessica Paige Dean, 32, of Oakwood, were
arrested Wednesday…

Drug investigators, along with K9 teams from both HCSO and the Gainesville Police
Department, executed a search warrant at a location in the 3200 block of Roy Parks Road,
finding the drugs hidden in various locations around the property.

In addition to 3.25 pounds of methamphetamine, investigators seized psilocybin
mushrooms, 66 alprazolam tablets and a felony amount of marijuana (more than one
ounce).

During the search, investigators also found two rifles, a shotgun and two handguns
on the property. The search also uncovered a stolen skid steer.

Tanner faces eight counts and Dean nine.
